Ropzide IT Training Centre | Terms and Conditions

1. SERVICE PROVIDER

1.1    The service provider is RopZide IT Center, registration number 2010/082764/23.

2. PAYMENT TERMS

2.1    The course fee must be paid five (10 working) days before the starting day of the course. Terms for corporate clients, with prior arrangements,
         are 30 days from date of invoice.

2.3    Interest of Prime plus 6% (six percent) will be charged on outstanding accounts.

2.4    Proof of payment must be sent through to RopZide IT Center on or before commencement of course.

3. EXCLUDED FROM PRICING

3.1    All pricing is exclusive of travelling, accommodation and subsistence allowances.

4. REGISTRATION AND COURSE ATTENDANCE

4.1    RopZide IT Center reserves the right to make changes to the course content, trainer, duration and dates without prior notification.

4.2    Training material is included in the price. All student practice lab will be deleted off the system on course completion.

4.3    International exam prices are not included in the course price and can be done at our authorized testing centre. Upon successful completion and 
         settlement of account of the course at RopZide IT Center you will receive a RopZide IT Center Completion letter. Vendors (e.g. Microsoft) will
         issue certificate(s) when you pass the International Exam(s).

4.4    Course Substitutions may be made at any time. The student will be expected to comply with the rules and regulations of RopZide IT Center and
         the various buildings in which it is situated. This is available upon request at the reception desk. RopZide IT Center does not accept any
         responsibility for any personal injury or any loss, of personal belonging of students Once a book is issued, it is the property of the student, and
         constitutes a personal belonging.

4.5    RopZide IT Center cannot run a class with less than 4 students, should there not be sufficient student numbers, and RopZide IT Center will
         reschedule the class or only if the student is willing to pay for corporate class.

4.6    The course(s) is/are subject to change at any time without prior notice and at RopZide IT Centerís sole discretion.

4.7    To enroll for any of the courses please complete this Booking Form and fax it to 086-565-8771 or deliver it in-person to RopZide IT center.

4.8    All faxed bookings will be regarded as confirmed bookings.

4.9    Students may not be accompanied by anybody, with the exception of students who are physically or otherwise impaired and/or where prior
         arrangements have been made.

4.10   No animals are allowed inside the classroom, with the exception of guide dogs .


5.1 RE-SCHEDULING OF COURSES

5.1.1    Dates for re-scheduling of courses should be submitted in writing, to RopZide IT Center, at least 5 working days before course commencement.
            In the event of this not happening, a fee of 20% of the proposed and accepted course fee will be charged.

5.1.2   Rescheduling attracts an administration fee of R300 per incident.

5.1.3    RopZide IT Center reserves the right to reschedule, cancel or change the venue of courses at its discretion. Should this be the case, the client
            will be advised at least two working days in advance via fax / email and telephonically.

5.1.4    RopZide IT Center cannot be held responsible should a student:

5.1.5   be booked on the wrong course by the Client or an authorised employee;

5.1.6   be on an inappropriate level or version;

5.1.7   not have the required pre-requisites as stated in the relevant course outlines.

5.2 CANCELLATION

5.2.1  Any form of cancellation has to be done two weeks prior to the date that the course commence and must be in writing, for a 65% of the course
          fee to be refunded. Which will take32 w

5.2.2 Apart form that, No cancellations will be accepted, please ensure you attend on the date specified on the booking form and NO refund will be
         made in terms of any form of cancellation without proper procedure of cancellation being followed.

 

6. STUDENTíS  RESPONSIBILITIES

6.1    RopZide IT Center reserves the right to exclude students from attending a course due to disorderly conduct. No offensive or discriminatory
         language and/ or behaviour will be tolerated.

6.2    RopZide IT Center reserves the right to exclude students from attending a particular course due to pre-requisites not being met. Refer to the
         pre-requisites on our course outlines.

6.3    RopZide IT Center reserves the right to exclude students from attending a particular course should a delegate arrive late. The cut-off time is 30
         minutes after Training has commenced, unless an arrangement for exceptional cases has been made with management beforehand.  This is to
         avoid disrupting the class.

6.4    RopZide IT Center cannot be held responsible where negligent behaviour has resulted in loss or damage to the property of the student.

6.5    It is the studentís responsibility to ensure that the correct course and version is attended. The same applies for examinations written.

7. HOUSEKEEPING RULES

7.1    Messages will be forwarded to the students where possible. Please try to limit these as well as the duration of follow-ups.

7.2    Smoking will only be allowed outside in designated smoking areas.

7.3    Cellular phones are to be switched off during training hours.  If permission has been granted beforehand, a student will be allowed (in exceptional
         cases) to leave the cell phone on during training ó  calls to be taken outside the classroom.

7.4    Refreshments during training ó   no eating or drinking will be allowed other than the refreshments provided in the classrooms.

7.5    Valuables (including course material) should be secured at all times.  See Disclaimer paragraph 1.5.4.

7.6    Please note that in the event of a prolonged municipal power failure delegates may not leave the training on their own accord.

8. COURSE MATERIAL

8.1    Reference material and/or training manuals may not be copied or duplicated under any circumstances.

8.2    Manuals and course material given to students attending courses are subject to copyright laws and as such may under no circumstances be copied
         or distributed without the express written permission of the copyright holder or author.

8.1   EXAMINATIONS

8.3    Every effort is made to provide our students with a high-quality learning experience and to assist them in examination preparation.  However,
         RopZide IT Center cannot guarantee that a student will pass an examination and cannot be held responsible in this regard.  RopZide IT Center
         cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond its control such as, Service Providers not downloading the correct software or
         Telecommunication line problems etc.

9. EXCHANGE RATE FLUCTUATIONS

9.1    RopZide IT Center reserves the right to change its pricing caused by exchange rate fluctuations where these materially affect the price of
         services, exam or course offerings.

10. ROOM AND EQUIPMENT RENTALS

10.1    Room and equipment rentals may be negotiated subject to availability.  A separate quotation and specific terms and conditions will be furnished.

11. DISCLAIMER

11.1    Presentation and/or attendance of courses and/or examinations are subject to these Terms and Conditions, which exclude liability for loss of or damage to any person(s) and /or property, whether or not such loss and/or damage has been caused by any negligence of RopZide IT Center, its employees, agents, partners, representatives, service providers and/or sub-contractors.
